Apple introduces new iPhone models every year, and 2022 will be no exception. We tend to expect four new iPhones in 6.1 and 6.7 inches. 2 of these will be regular, affordable models: iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 GHB. At the same time, the other two will be higher-end “Pro” models called iPhone 14 pro and iPhone 14 pro max. in this list. We’ve got several highlights on what to expect from the high-end iPhone fourteen pro and pro max.

Size options

There will be no 5.4-inch iPhone in 2022 as Apple cancels the “mini” line amid lackluster sales. The iPhone 13 mini will be the last of the mini phones, and Apple is expected to specialize in larger iPhones within 6.1 to 6.7-inches in the future.

We expect a6.1-inch iPhone 14, a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 pro, a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 max, and a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 pro max. 

Colors

According to unofficial rumors, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro may be available in purple. Although not confirmed, the word suggests that the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 pro models will be offered in a purple shade with a distinctive finish that shifts the lighting conditions supported by the tone. Apple has previously used a similar color for high-end iPhones and pro models, but usually in multiple shades, so this could be what we tend to see in 2022 if the purple rumors measure up correctly. iPhone 14 and 14 pro max will be offered in Black, White, Blue, Red, and Purple, while iPhone14 and iPhone 14 pro max will be provided in Gold, Silver, and Purple.

chip A16

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said only 14 pro iPhone models might get the new and faster A16 chip.

Kuo says that high-end iPhone 14 models may still use the similar A15 Bionic that’s in iPhone 13 models, which means a big difference between Pro and non-Pro iPhones in 2022. Alternative sources have collectively saved the rumor that an older chip may stick to the standard fourteen iPhone models.

Kuo believes the A16 chip could only be a minor improvement over the A15 chip. The chip is expected to be designed on a similar N5P method as the A15 chip limits improvements.

RAM

According to Ming-Chi Kuo and alternative sources, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 pro models may have 6GB of RAM, the same amount of RAM as the iPhone 13 pro models.

Rumors from the Chinese chain advise that 14 pro iPhone models may supply 8GB of RAM to match the Samsung Galaxy S22. Still, Apple usually does not randomly implement options to check rival devices.
