Royal sisters receive support as Prince Andrew faces eviction from Royal Lodge

King Charles III and Prince William have reportedly stepped in to reassure Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie amid the ongoing tensions surrounding their father, Prince Andrew, and his Royal Lodge eviction dispute.

According to The Telegraph, the King is currently in “advanced talks” with the Duke of York over vacating the 30-bedroom Royal Lodge in Windsor — a residence he has occupied for more than two decades with minimal rent payments.

While Buckingham Palace is said to be urging Andrew to vacate the property voluntarily, sources reveal that both the King and the Prince of Wales are keen to ensure Beatrice and Eugenie’s stability and standing within the royal fold remain untouched.

“They Are Still Welcome at Family Events”

Royal commentator Jennie Bond told The Mirror that King Charles has “made it clear” to the princesses that they will continue to have their places within the royal family and retain access to their residences at St James’s Palace and Kensington Palace.

“The King has made it clear that they are still welcome at family events such as Christmas,” Bond shared.
“Charles and William have always been fond of them and don’t want to see them suffer.”

The reassurance comes as the royal family faces renewed public scrutiny following reports that Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson have agreed to relinquish their Duke and Duchess of York titles, though Beatrice and Eugenie will retain their princess status under royal protocol.

Beatrice and Eugenie’s Dilemma

With their father’s public reputation once again under fire due to his past association with Jeffrey Epstein, royal experts believe the sisters are now navigating a deeply personal and emotional chapter.

“Surely they must now be questioning why both he and their mother continued an association with a convicted sex offender for so long?” Bond said.

Despite the controversy, both sisters have continued to represent the monarchy with grace. Princess Beatrice, 37, remains active in charitable causes, balancing her royal duties with her work in business and motherhood, while Princess Eugenie, 35, focuses on environmental advocacy and anti-slavery initiatives through her charity The Anti-Slavery Collective.

Royal Lodge Drama: What’s Next for Prince Andrew

The Royal Lodge, located in Windsor Great Park, has been at the center of tensions between Prince Andrew and the palace for months. Reports suggest the Duke has resisted moves to relocate to Frogmore Cottage, the former residence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Sources close to the King maintain that the eviction talks are not intended to “punish” Andrew but rather to streamline royal property management and reduce the burden of upkeep on the Crown Estate.

While Andrew’s future remains uncertain, the King’s gesture toward Beatrice and Eugenie signals a clear intent to protect the next generation of royals from fallout linked to past scandals.
