The couple started their romantic journey in 2015 and shared a daughter Khai, a few days ago, there were rumors about their breakup, and now both of them have confirmed this.
Multiple resources have confirmed that Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik broke up because of Zayn’s argumentation with Gigi’s mother, Yolanda. A family friend of Hadid’s said that:
“They are not together right now. Both are good parents, though, and they will co-parent their daughter Khai.”
The news of their breakup came up right after the allegations of harassment on Zayn malik. According to court documents, he pled no contest to multiple charges of harassment against both Yolanda and Gigi. Malik denied all the allegations by his mother-in-law, saying in a tweet that:
“I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid, and for the sake of my daughter, I decline to give any further details, and I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private”
While the reaction of Gigi during this situation is somehow similar to Zayn, her representative told the media that she “asks for privacy during this time.”
