Jahangir Tareen and Owner of Multan Sultans visited Tareen Cricket Academy is Lodhran

Lodhran: During his visit to the Tareen Cricket Academy, Jahangir Khan Tareen highlighted the transformative power of sports in empowering young women from underprivileged areas. He stated, “Cricket not only builds careers and confidence but also breaks the status quo when women are involved. We must continue to encourage more participation of women in sports, as it leads to healthier communities and a brighter future for the next generation.”

Ali Khan Tareen, owner of the Multan Sultans, discussed the academy’s grassroot initiatives, emphasizing its commitment to providing top-notch facilities and coaching for female cricketers. Several players, including Sher Bano, Nasreen Ashraf, Sawera Zafer, and Rameen Roshan, have already made their mark by representing the region in national PCB tournaments.

Ali Tareen further stated, “Our focus is now on women empowerment, as the progress of women will drive the overall development of our region. With our full potential, we will continue to complete welfare projects in education, health, sports, and women empowerment. We will provide every possible facility to women interested in sports.”

To support  and encourage the players, Ali Tareen also distributed international-standard cricket bats from England to the girls, demonstrating the academy’s commitment to their development.
