The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has issued a schedule for temporary power outages across multiple areas in Islamabad and Rawalpindi due to ongoing maintenance and development work.
On February 7, 2026, the Islamabad Circle will experience power suspension from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Affected feeders include Punjab House, Khayaban-e-Iqbal, F-6/2, Bari Imam, Said Pur, and Pir Sohawa.
Meanwhile, the Rawalpindi City Circle will face outages from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Areas on the affected feeders include Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Tehmasamabad, Dhoke Hukam Dad, Committee Chowk, Zafar-Ul-Haq, and Arya Mohallah.
IESCO has urged residents and businesses to plan accordingly and ensure backup arrangements during the outage periods. The company emphasized that the temporary interruptions are necessary to improve system reliability and support ongoing infrastructure development.
Consumers are also advised to avoid overloading electrical circuits immediately after power restoration to prevent equipment damage and further outages.
