Ministry Finalizes Training Arrangements Nationwide
The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) has finalized a comprehensive training program for pilgrims under Pakistan’s Hajj 2025 government scheme. This initiative aims to ensure that pilgrims are fully prepared for their spiritual journey.
The training program, set to begin tomorrow, will take place at 147 designated locations across Pakistan. The first session will be held in Peshawar, with more sessions scheduled nationwide. Attendance for these workshops will be managed through the Pak Haj mobile app using QR codes, adding a tech-driven layer to the process.
Special Training for Overseas Pakistanis
In addition to local participants, overseas Pakistanis will receive specialized training at their respective Haji Camps. This ensures that all pilgrims, regardless of location, are familiar with the Hajj rituals and protocols.
The first phase of the training program is set to conclude by the 27th of next month, covering key topics such as the performance of Hajj rites, logistical guidelines, and use of mobile applications for enhanced pilgrim support.
Key Highlights of the Hajj Agreement 2025
Earlier this year, Pakistan’s Minister for Religious Affairs, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, and Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, signed the Hajj Agreement 2025. Under this agreement, 179,210 Pakistanis will perform Hajj this year.
Key features of the agreement include improved facilities, reduced accommodation costs in Mina, and a commitment from Saudi authorities to provide the best possible support for pilgrims.
International Hajj Conference Participation
Minister Salik Hussain will also represent Pakistan at the four-day International Hajj Conference in Jeddah. This event, organized by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj, aims to foster collaboration and secure additional agreements with service providers to enhance the pilgrim experience.
