Garena has officially announced the launch of the first-ever Free Fire Ramadan Cup 2026, marking a major milestone for the global Free Fire esports ecosystem. The online Battle Royale tournament will bring together 18 elite teams from South and Southeast Asia to compete for a USD 25,000 prize pool, with matches set to begin on February 21, 2026.

The Free Fire Ramadan Cup aims to celebrate competitive gaming during the holy month by uniting top regional talent in a high-stakes international showdown. Teams will represent four countries, including Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Indonesia, each qualifying through localized competitive pathways.

Pakistan and regional representation

Pakistan and Bangladesh will each field six teams, while Malaysia will send four teams and Indonesia will be represented by two teams. All participating squads will qualify through official national formats and professional circuits within their respective regions.

For Pakistani teams, the road to the international stage runs through the Ramadan Cup Pakistan Qualifiers, scheduled from January 31 to February 14. The qualification process begins with the Free Fire Cup (FFC), followed by Group Stages, and culminates in the Pakistan Finals on February 14 at 7:00 PM (GMT+5). The top six teams from this final will earn their spots in the Free Fire Ramadan Cup 2026.

Tournament format and map pool

The competition will unfold in two intense stages, designed to test consistency, adaptability, and clutch performance.

The Group Stage, running from February 21 to February 23 at 7:00 PM, will divide teams into three groups of six, with a total of 15 matches played across the stage. Based on overall standings, the top 12 teams will advance to the Grand Final.

Matches will be played across a diverse and competitive map pool, including Bermuda, Purgatory, Alpine, Kalahari, NexTerra, and Solara, ensuring varied gameplay and strategic depth.

Champion Rush Grand Final

The Grand Final is scheduled for February 28 at 7:00 PM and will feature the thrilling Champion Rush format. Under this system, the first team to reach 80 points and secure a Booyah! will be crowned champion. If no team meets the Champion Rush condition, the team with the highest total points after up to 10 matches will claim the title.
