Adobe has announced an extension of its Firefly Video Model, a powerful AI video generator. The new development will add a flavour of integration between various Adobe applications like Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Express, and Premiere Pro into creative workflows. Adobe’s Firefly Video Model redefines the way content is created with features so unique, it seems only an AI drive can make them work.
Among the key features of the Firefly extension is the Generative Extend tool rolled out in beta to users of Premiere Pro. With Generative Extend, up to two seconds of a video clip can be stretched and created at 720p or 1080p resolution, giving creative professionals more flexibility within the editing process. The audio effects allow the user to stretch it up to 10 seconds as well.
Adobe Firefly Model’s Latest Features
The Firefly Video Model now comes with two latest features: Text-to-Video and Image-to-Video, both of which are up for a limited public beta on Adobe’s website. You can also sign up for the waitlist to try out these tools; all generations within the beta period are free. This is how these tools have the potential to bring ideation and creativity to new heights, according to Adobe. This Firefly Video Model supports not only video generation but also creative exploration in the media, marketing, and design industries.
Not so long ago, the company brought out Movie Gen, its AI video gen, where both Adobe and Meta have made their respective claims about the future of AI-generated video. In this respect, the ambition for the Firefly Video Model lies in establishing tools that are commercially secure – namely, providing wide support for professional creatives. The model will be in beta for a while before it is stabilized, at which point Adobe will come forth with the pricing.
This extension of the Firefly Video Model from Adobe represents the vision of the company that is geared towards innovation, and even more creativity while being available and effective on various multiple platforms so that users can access AI tools.
