Samsung's recurrent habit of poking fun at Apple while simultaneously taking cues from its rival is a well-known occurrence. This trend is set to continue with the forthcoming Galaxy S24 series. The Samsung Galaxy S24 is not only expected to feature a titanium frame, mirroring Apple's design choices, but it's also rumored to embrace a flat design in the coming year. Renowned Samsung insider, Ice Universe, has hinted at Samsung's inclination to flatten the side frame of their devices, aligning them more closely with the aesthetics of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. Unlike the current Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ models, which boast flat backs with a slight curvature in the middle frame, this aspect of the design is slated for alteration. This decision might have been influenced by external factors, given the prevailing design trends that have favored sleek, flat designs with well-defined edges over the past couple of years. Alternatively, Samsung may believe that this modification will enhance the overall look of the Galaxy S24, irrespective of current trends. Notably, the report doesn't touch on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Following a pattern seen in prior Galaxy S lineups, the Ultra model is expected to forge its own unique path. Samsung typically introduces subtle design changes for the Ultra variant to ensure it stands out and is easily distinguishable. It's possible that the Galaxy S24 Ultra could share the same design as the Galaxy S22 and S23 Ultra, featuring a flat design to align with the S24 and S24+. However, this is purely speculative at this point, so it should be taken with a degree of caution.
