Saeeda Imtiaz has established herself as a recognized name in Pakistani cinema. Her career includes roles in several feature films such as “Wajood” with Danish Taimoor, “Thori Setting Thora Pyar,” “Kaptaan,” and “Rasta.” She gained wider public recognition as a standout contestant on the first season of the reality show “Tamasha.” Although she now lives overseas with her family, Imtiaz remains active in the film industry, returning to Pakistan for her professional commitments. Her recent cinematic release, the romantic film “Qulfee” featuring Shahroz Sabzwari, performed successfully at the box office.
A Personal Revelation on Marriage
During a recent visit to Pakistan, Saeeda Imtiaz appeared as a guest on the talk show “Zabardast,” hosted by Wasi Shah. The conversation took a personal turn when she openly discussed her views on marriage. Imtiaz revealed a firmly held decision, stating that she would never marry a Pakistani man. She elaborated that this was a choice she made a long time ago, rooted in her personal observations and beliefs about relationships.
Explaining a Firm Stance
Saeeda Imtiaz provided a detailed explanation for her decision during the interview. She expressed a specific concern, describing it as a “phobia” regarding Pakistani men. She stated her belief that extramarital affairs are prevalent among them. Imtiaz contrasted this with her experience abroad, citing stricter laws against bigamy and pointing to family members who have stable, monogamous marriages. She also criticized a societal dynamic in Pakistan, alleging that women sometimes pursue married men, leading to broken homes. This perspective, she concluded, has solidified her resolve to seek a life partner from outside Pakistan.
