Azaan Sami Khan is a well-known figure in Pakistan’s entertainment industry, recognized not only for his talent but also for his notable family background. He is the son of celebrated actress Zeba Bakhtiar and renowned musician Adnan Sami Khan. Initially stepping into the spotlight as a musician, Azaan enjoyed a successful career in music before venturing into acting.
Four years ago, he transitioned to acting, quickly making his mark with compelling performances. Currently, he is winning hearts as Farhad Binyamin in the popular drama Main Manto Nahi Hoon. His character, both notorious and adored, has become a highlight for fans, who appreciate the intensity and realism he brings to the role.

Highlighting his family background, Azaan stressed that patriotism runs deep in his lineage. His maternal grandfather held a prominent government position, while his paternal grandfather proudly served in the Air Force. Furthermore, his mother, Zeba Bakhtiar, has dedicated her entire life to working for the betterment of Pakistan’s entertainment industry and representing the country in a positive light.
Azaan himself strongly identifies as a Pakistani patriot. Despite the criticism he sometimes faces online, including being labeled “ghaddar ka beta” because of his father’s controversial stance, he insists that he does not need to repeatedly prove his love for Pakistan. For him, his choices and his presence in the country speak louder than words.
Standing Firm on His Identity
In his interview, Azaan clarified that despite his father being honored with the Padmashree award in India and establishing his career abroad, he never considered leaving Pakistan. He emphasized that his life, career, and identity are firmly rooted in his homeland. His decision to stay in Pakistan and contribute to its entertainment industry reflects his commitment to both his profession and his country.
