Gold Prices Rebound in Pakistan After Sharp October Decline, Rise Rs. 2,400 Per Tola

Gold prices in Pakistan staged a recovery on Monday, November 2, 2026, as the precious metal gained Rs. 2,400 per tola following a significant decline recorded just two days earlier. The latest increase brought the domestic price of gold back above Rs. 412,000, reflecting continued fluctuations in the local bullion market.

According to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold increased to Rs. 412,136 per tola. The recovery came after gold prices experienced a sharp drop of Rs. 10,800 per tola over the weekend.

The latest movement highlights the volatility currently affecting Pakistan’s gold market, where prices can change significantly within a short period. Buyers, investors and jewellery traders are closely monitoring daily rate adjustments as the precious metal continues to experience substantial price fluctuations.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also moved upward on Monday. It increased by Rs. 2,058 to reach Rs. 353,340, according to the jewellery association’s latest market announcement.

The recovery follows a considerable correction in domestic gold prices during the final days of October. The earlier decline had put pressure on the local bullion market, creating uncertainty among buyers and traders who were waiting for more favourable purchasing opportunities.

Gold remains an important investment and savings option in Pakistan. Many households purchase the precious metal for weddings, special occasions and long-term financial security. Its price movements therefore attract considerable attention from consumers across the country.

For jewellery businesses, sudden changes in gold rates can also influence customer activity. When prices increase sharply, some buyers postpone purchases, while others may choose lighter jewellery or reduce their spending. Similarly, falling prices can encourage consumers who have been waiting for a better buying opportunity.

Domestic gold rates are influenced by several factors, including international bullion prices, currency exchange movements and local market conditions. Changes in global demand for precious metals and economic uncertainty can also affect the direction of gold prices.

Investors traditionally consider gold a store of value during periods of financial uncertainty. However, short-term price movements can remain unpredictable, making it important for buyers to follow verified market rates before making purchasing decisions.

The latest increase does not necessarily indicate that the previous decline has been fully reversed. The Rs. 2,400 gain represents only a partial recovery from the earlier Rs. 10,800 drop, leaving the market sensitive to further changes.

Jewellers and consumers will be watching upcoming price announcements to determine whether the recovery continues or another correction emerges. For now, Monday’s increase has provided some relief to the local gold market after the sharp October decline.

The latest APGJSA figures underline how quickly gold prices can move in Pakistan, making regular market updates important for anyone planning to buy, sell or invest in the precious metal.
