With the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled on January 22, 2025, Samsung enthusiasts are waiting eagerly for the unveiling of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Building from the success of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the new flagship promises to come with advanced technology, enhanced performance, and some groundbreaking features. Here’s everything you need to know about the Galaxy S25 Ultra, starting from its chipset innovations to AI capabilities and camera upgrades.
Qualcomm Snapdragon for Enhanced Performance
The most widely expected upgrade within the Galaxy S25 Ultra includes Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset in all areas. This is going to potentially increase battery life, overall performance, and artificial intelligence integration within the device. Since its predecessor did not get excellent feedback due to the Exynos chipset in some parts of the world, the S25 Ultra intends to provide the same experience without compromise in the global market.
Reports say the Samsung Exynos 2500 chipset isn’t yet ready for the Galaxy S25 series due to a production delay, but it may be unveiled in the Galaxy Z Flip7 towards the latter part of 2025. So far, though, it will be the Snapdragon that leads, guaranteeing easy performance and outstanding AI processing.

The S25 Ultra is going to keep the same look but will now feature Corning’s second generation of Gorilla Glass Armour.
