The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) is set to open 26 new facilitation centers across the southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, aiming to bring essential citizen services closer to local communities. Work on establishing the new centers is already underway.

The expansion plan was discussed during a meeting at the Governor’s House Peshawar, where officials emphasized the need for improved access to registration and identification services in underserved areas. During the meeting, Faisal Karim Kundi highlighted the importance of providing citizens with convenient access to NADRA services without the need to travel long distances.

The new facilitation centers will offer a wide range of services, including issuance of Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs), family registration certificates, and other essential documentation. By establishing centers in southern districts, NADRA aims to reduce administrative hurdles and improve service delivery for residents.

Officials noted that accessibility has been a major concern for residents in remote areas, and expanding NADRA’s presence will help bridge the service gap. The project also aligns with the government’s broader objective of enhancing public service infrastructure across the province.

The initiative is expected to improve operational efficiency, reduce waiting times, and provide timely assistance to citizens seeking identity and registration services. Local communities are likely to benefit from easier access to official documentation, which is essential for government services, education, and business transactions.

This development reinforces NADRA’s ongoing commitment to modernizing its service network and ensuring that citizens in all regions of Pakistan can access reliable and efficient registration facilities. The expansion of centers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reflects the authority’s focus on inclusivity and public convenience.
