North West, the daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, is set to make her debut in Disney’s The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl live concert, marking the 30th anniversary of the iconic film. The concert, slated for filming on May 24 and 25, will feature two performances and will be later streamed on Disney+. North West joins a star-studded cast including renowned actors like Jeremy Irons, Nathan Lane, Billy Eichner, Jennifer Hudson, and Bradley Gibson. Additionally, Heather Headley and Lebo M. have been added to the lineup for this special live concert event.

Produced by Disney Branded Television, Fulwell 73 Productions, AMP Worldwide, and Live Nation-Hewitt Silva, this concert celebrates the enduring legacy of “The Lion King,” which originated as an animated film in 1994 and later became a Tony Award-winning Broadway musical. The 2019 live-action adaptation received widespread acclaim, further solidifying the franchise’s place in popular culture.

In related news, Disney recently unveiled the trailer for “Mufasa: The Lion King,” a highly anticipated prequel to the 2019 blockbuster. This prequel delves into the early life of the king of lions, featuring Beyoncé reprising her role as Nala and Blue Ivy Carter voicing the daughter of King Simba.

Aaron Pierre lends his voice to Mufasa, while Kelvin Harrison Jr. takes on the role of Scar. Directed by Barry Jenkins and scripted by Jeff Nathanson, known for “Catch Me If You Can,” the trailer offers a tantalizing glimpse into the African Pride Lands where Mufasa and Scar’s story unfolds.
