The couple tied the knot in a Nikah ceremony at Maulana Tariq Jamil’s residence, which quickly became controversial due to their public statements. Fraud Allegations Surface Against New Husband
Haris Khokhar, who presents himself as an investigative journalist from a well-connected family, faces serious credibility challenges. Journalist Bushra Shakeel released a video allegedly showing Khokhar scamming individuals while aggressively claiming to head YMA (Youth Movement Association) and asserting he is the nephew of prominent lawyer Rana Intezar Hussain. The video shows Khokhar in an angry confrontation, making claims about his political and familial connections that are now being questioned.
Family Connection Denied as Scandal Grows
The controversy deepened when Rana Intezar Hussain publicly denied any familial relationship with Khokhar in a separate video interview. This direct contradiction of Khokhar’s claims has gone viral on social media, sparking widespread skepticism about the couple’s credibility. Social media users have been particularly vocal, with many questioning both Khokhar’s professional claims and Dr. Khan’s academic credentials. One commenter noted, “They are both the same. One declared a fake house, the other declared a fake uncle,” while others called for verification of Dr. Khan’s doctorate degree.
