Fujitsu introduces the FMV Zero Lifebook WU5/J3, a laptop that addresses the demand for lightness. It now bags the title of being the world’s lightest laptop, weighing only 634 grams. This 14-inch marvel is targeted towards professionals who are always mobile and on the go, yet still provide performance without sacrificing portability. By cutting edge in design and feature sets, WU5/J3 makes ultra-portability accessible to a new level.
The world’s lightest laptop has been made with durability in mind and meets the standards of MIL-STD-810H military-grade. Its body is made of carbon fibre, which ensures it can withstand drops, shocks, and pressure, hence making it resilient yet sustainable for long use. With the growing force of remote working, Fujitsu looks forward to meeting the growing demand of an expanding mobile workforce.
The world’s lightest laptop is offered with two processor options, including Intel Core Ultra 5 125U or Core Ultra 7 155U, but it comes with AI Boost NPUs for the AI-enhanced features of Windows 11, such as CoPilot. RAM begins at an 8 GB maximum of 64 GB, while the SSD storage starts at 256 GB but tops out at 2 TB, and is customizable.
Its light frame nonetheless conceals a very sober lineup of ports, including USB-A, USB-C, HDMI, and Ethernet. A fingerprint sensor will handle logins, while the battery life is good for up to 11 hours of use, making it the perfect working companion for frantic professionals. Currently only available in Japan, the FMV Zero Lifebook WU5/J3 begins from $1,325.
