The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has intensified its oversight of private housing projects in Islamabad by issuing a show cause notice to the management of Rawal Enclave Housing Scheme, citing alleged violations of regulatory requirements.
According to the notice, the housing project located in Zone IV of Islamabad is accused of undertaking development activities and marketing operations without obtaining the necessary approvals from the CDA. The authority claims that the scheme proceeded with various activities despite not securing approval for its Layout Plan and the required No Objection Certificate (NOC).
The notice was issued by the Directorate of Regional Planning, which is responsible for monitoring land development and ensuring compliance with planning regulations in the Islamabad Capital Territory. Officials stated that the alleged violations include unauthorized development work, promotional campaigns, and facilitation of plot transactions before receiving formal authorization.
