The Africa-2 Cable Project, the world’s largest submarine cable, has arrived in Pakistan, aiming to significantly improve the country’s internet infrastructure. Minister of State for IT, Shaza Fatima, announced this development, expressing optimism that the internet issues will soon be resolved.

The 2Africa submarine internet cable spans 45,000 kilometers and includes 46 landing stations across 33 countries. Pakistan is part of the East Africa segment, which connects multiple regions, enhancing global connectivity.
