TECNO, the global AI-driven technology brand, showcased over a dozen concept devices and technologies at Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, Spain, demonstrating its vision for AI-integrated smartphones and ecosystems. From modular hardware innovations to edge-side generative AI previews, TECNO highlighted how future devices may seamlessly combine human-centered design with next-generation intelligence.
A key highlight of the showcase was the Modular Magnetic Interconnection Technology. TECNO introduced two design interpretations: the ATOM edition, emphasizing “Rational Order with Personal Expression,” and the MODA edition, which presents a bold, geek-inspired aesthetic. The modular system allows users to add or remove components such as stackable batteries, action cameras, and telephoto lenses, enabling lightweight daily use while supporting high-demand AI computing.

The POVA Ecosystem also took center stage, illustrating TECNO’s approach to mobile experiences that adapt across diverse scenarios. The POVA Metal, the world’s first full-metal unibody 5G smartphone, combines a premium build with high performance, while the POVA Controller Slide supports adjustable angles for MOBA and FPS games. Complementing the ecosystem, POVA Earphones feature futuristic design and signature dot-matrix lighting elements.

TECNO further demonstrated advancements in generative AI with its Edge-Side AIGC Preview Concept Technology. Developed in partnership with Arm, this edge-side solution delivers real-time style transfer previews at 30fps while running fully offline, overcoming latency and connectivity challenges and bringing AI-powered creativity to everyday mobile users.

Additional concept innovations showcased TECNO’s engineering and design breakthroughs:
- AI EINK – A paper-like electronic ink display that matches captured colors with the back panel via AI recognition.
- TECNO Slim 2 – Ultra-thin device with 0.7mm narrow bezels enhancing visual immersion
- POVA Neon – First smartphone to incorporate ionized inert gas lighting for glowing effects.
- Concept Design Suite “Music in Motion” – Reimagining laptops, tablets, earbuds, smart glasses, and power banks with vibrant, modular forms.
- TECNO PHANTOM Ultimate G Fold Concept – World’s thinnest tri-fold with a 9.94-inch screen, foldable twice, featuring ultra-high-strength hinges and Titan Fiber back cover.
TECNO’s MWC 2026 presentation reflects a holistic vision where AI computing, modular hardware, ecosystem integration, and user-centric design converge. The company aims to redefine mobile device interaction while demonstrating scalable solutions for future intelligent lifestyles.
